Anti-Corruption

In 2015, Turkey proposes to focus mainly on (a) expanding G20’s anti corruption work on the private sector, (b) strengthening accountability for public officials, and (c) enhancing transparency in the public and private sectors as well as in financial transactions. Overall, they intend to begin implementing the new plan, namely the 2015-16 G20 Anti-Corruption Action Plan. The Action Plan was finalised at the ACWG meeting in October 2014, and was endorsed by leaders at the Brisbane Summit —outlining the six priority areas the Group will focus on in 2015-16. These are as follows:

  • Beneficial ownership transparency
  • Bribery
  • High-risk sectors
  • Public sector transparency and integrity
  • International cooperation
  • Private sector transparency and integrity
